Yalmeh Naturals Review

Yalmeh Naturals was born out of a desire to provide natural, non-toxic & effective skincare without a high price tag. As a young woman living in Turkey, founder Jacklin Yalmeh suffered from dark circles and sagging under her eyes. She tried many of the high-end European brands but was disappointed with both the results (or lack of) and the toxic ingredients that were used in them.

Determined to help her issues, she began to study how to combine natural & plant-based ingredients into product formulations that would be both effective and affordable. Her one rule was “no toxic products in my brand!” And so you won’t find any cancer causing additives, mineral oil, sulfates, propylene glycol, GMO’s or parabens in any of the products they offer. Their products are also 100% cruelty-free (most are vegan).

After discussing with Jacklin my skin issues and needs, she generously sent me 3 of her lovely products to try.

Hyaluronic Acid Serum – Advanced Formula

Containing 11% Hyaluronic Acid as well as anti-aging superstars Matrixyl 3000 & CoQ10, this serum makes your skin look smoother, plumper and more hydrated upon application. Sensitive skins will love this as it contains soothing ingredients like organic Calendula, Aloe, and Geranium. This was my favorite product of the 3 I tried, mainly because it contains so many ingredients great for fighting acne, irritation, and aging! I’ve used other HA serums and I really like this one more than most. Definitely recommend! čÖé

Price – $59.95

Ingredients –┬áTea of Wildcrafted Taraxacum Officinale (Dandelion), Wildcrafted Arnica Montana (Arnica), Organic Curcuma Longa (Turmeric) and Organic Calendula Officinalis (Calendula), Organic Aloe Barbadensis Leaf (Aloe), Hamamelis Virginiana (Witch Hazel), Matrixyl 3000, Cassia Angustifolia Seed Polysaccharide (botanical hyaluronic acid), Kosher Vegetable Glycerin, Methylsulfonylmethane (MSM), Hydroxyethyl Cellulose, Carrageenan Gum, Ubiquinone (Coenzyme Q10), Organic Simmondsia Chinensis (Jojoba Oil), Wildcrafted Camellia Sinensis (Green Tea), Pelargonium Gravolens (Geranium Essential Oil), Sodium Ascorbyl Phosphate (Vitamin C), Tocopheryl Acetate (Vitamin E), Sodium Benzoate, Potassium Sorbate, Ethyl Hexyl Glycerin.

Vitamin C Serum – Advanced Formula

The benefits of Vitamin C on the skin are many, including stimulating collagen production, fighting aging free radicals and making skin look brighter. Yalmeh uses Sodium Ascorbyl Phosphate, which is a more stable form of Vitamin C in their formulation, as well as organic Turmeric, MSM, Plant Stem Cells and Peptides which work to clear & rejuvenate skin. The texture is a light gel, absorbs quickly and is not greasy. If I could change one thing about this serum, it would be to switch Phenoxyethanol for a safer preservative. Otherwise, this is a lovely and effective Vitamin C serum!

Super Youth Face Moisturizer

The perfect mate to the above Vitamin C serum, this rich, let lightweight moisturizer contains many of the same skin loving ingredients and works to hydrate, nourish, brighten & revitalize dull, dehydrated & tired skin. I used this primarily at night and would wake up to a much brighter complexion. No breakouts, so woot to that! čÖé This is a really great moisturizer for those with sensitive or acne prone skins as well as those looking for some anti-aging help. Also, it’s pretty affordable too!
