Hey, eco-beauties! It’s time to review another Goodbeing box and as usual, it’s loaded with lots of great products! Most of the brands I have never heard of before, though I was pretty stoked to see one of my favorite hair care brands make it in this month’s box! 😀
If you’ve never tried or heard of Goodbeing – it’s a monthly subscription box that consists of 4-5 expertly curated full & deluxe sized natural products. They have two types of boxes to choose from – a beauty box (which is all beauty related) and a lifestyle box (which is a combo of wellness, beauty & lifestyle products). You also have the option of selecting the standard subscription, which is $24.95 (USD) and $33.95 (International) or the mini subscription box in which you will get 2 curated full or deluxe sized products for $9.95 (USD) and $15.95 (International).
Since I get the standard “lifestyle box”, I get a mix of both beauty and wellness products, as well as having the option of choosing two of my 5 products that I will be sent.
Let’s dive in!
Art Naturals Konjac Sponge Set – (full size) – This was one of the two products that I selected for myself and since I no longer wash my face in the mornings with cleanser, I figured this would be a good choice. This set includes one white konjac sponge which is meant to be used daily and one infused with bamboo charcoal that is ideal for weekly use. What I love about using these sponges is that not only am I gently cleansing & exfoliating my skin, but konjac is naturally rich in vitamins, minerals, lipids, fatty acids and proteins to help nourish and soothe as well. $10
Bonnie Skincare Rejuvenating Facial Serum – (travel size) – This was my second pick as I am always on the lookout for natural products that offer anti-aging benefits (I am 47 after all!) and this one looked to be promising. Since I was sent a small travel size, it’s not enough to see the results that you’d get from using a full-size bottle long term. That being said, this is super hydrating and did offer some skin tightening with just a few uses. It contains fruit peptides, date seed extract, kakadu plum extract, gotu kola, neroli, and algae to help firm, lift, tighten, smooth, brighten and nourish. The rich creamy texture sinks into skin and is moisturizing without being greasy. I used this on face, neck, and hands and wished I had a giant bottle to use all over! $9 for travel size; $36 for full size
Juice Organics Volumizing Shampoo/Conditioner Set – (samples) – I’ve used and praised Juice Organics hair products for a while now, so I was pretty excited to see them make an appearance in this month’s box! Made with passion fruit, green tea extract and ginko biloba to promote hair growth, olive and avocado oils to hydrate and rice proteins to strengthen, add shine and volume, this duo cleans and conditions without leaving a filmy residue on hair, but rather offers just the right amount of moisture so as to not weigh hair down. $1.50 (for sachet duos); $20 for full size set
Emani Lipshine in ‘Starstruck” – (full size) – If you’re a lipgloss lover like I am, you’ll adore this 100% vegan formula that’s made with organic oils and organic fruit extracts as well as pure mineral pigments to hydrate and condition your lips. The color is a gorgeous sheer pinky-peach color that is perfect for Spring and the texture is silky, very moisturizing & not tacky at all. I love to wear this during the day for just a touch of color and shine, but you can also layer this over a lipstick or use a liner for more drama. $10
Rebloom Natural Sleep Drink – (full size) – I’m one of those people that just doesn’t know how to fully unwind at night – also my brain always seems to choose to be the most active when I just want to go to sleep! Usually, to help me relax and fall asleep, I’ll take some magnesium and valerian, so being introduced to a drink that not only contains both of my go-to sleep aids, but also chamomile and melatonin as well, I knew that sleep would not be a problem after taking this. And boy was I right! Not only did it knock me out pretty quickly, I slept all night – something that doesn’t happen often. And I woke up feeling refreshed and well rested! I definitely need to keep this on hand! $4 for 1 bottle; $28 for 7 pack (one-time order).
